Contributors to the Clint Foundation have a unique
opportunity to maximize their contribution to education. In almost
all cases, the participating colleges match the Clint Foundation's
contribution three to one, providing 4 dollars for each Clint dollar
contributed. These funds are then matched with the work effort of the
students, providing 8 dollars toward education. Since the colleges
and the trustees provide administrative expenses, all funds are net
dollars and are not diminished by operating expenses.
Another benefit of the Clint program is the moral commitment
of the recipients to give back in the future. This provides continuing
support for education from the private sector for many years to come.
Contributions to date have come from a diverse group
including major corporations such as Merrill Lynch, Chesapeake Energy,
Soloman Smith Barney and Franklin Templeton Funds. Significant contributions
have also been received from individuals who recognize the benefit
received by students working for their own education. This promotes
self-confidence and pride that in most cases add to the student's growth
and maturity while in college.
Contributions may be made through the following methods:
Check, Money order, or Credit card
